Digital deconstruction was developed as a final major project at university.
A bastardisation of 'good design' as outlined by Dieter Rams, mainly... 'good design is as little design as possible'. I wanted to remove myself somewhat from the design process and used 'pixelisation' as a means to achieve this. A 2D image is pixelated, creating a random abstraction of the original object...this is then extruded back into a solid form. Here are some selected images and further experiments.
